How would you describe your photography style and approach?
I think my style is reminiscent of a storyteller. I want you to look at the images we captured and remember all 5 senses of that day. My approach is to show people the authentic you even when posed and in a new space.
What do you love most about capturing moments through analog photography?
It is raw and undoctored. You have to love photography and have the skills to be able to trust that the images you are capturing are going to come out how they do in your head. There is no instant gratification in analog photography. It's truly a labor of love and dedication.
Do you shoot weddings?
I don't shoot large weddings as I prefer more time to connect with my clients. However, I will gladly be there for your elopement or engagement pictures. Just contact me to inquire!
Will there be a second shooter?
There will rarely be a second shooter with me unless we have arranged a full day of shooting. I prefer to have more control over the quality that your time and money are invested in.
What kind of gear do you use?
I use a variety of gear, but I try not to overcomplcate it. My main camera is a Sony A7II. I have lights and all of the bells and whistles that travel with me as well. If we are having a film shoot I bring my vintage Canon and Minolta cameras and the highest quality of portrait film.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Certainly not! I am paired with some AMAZING printing services that have the capability to offer 100 years of fade-resistant quality. But if that isn't your cup of tea, you have the option to own your entire gallery for your own print projects.
